If you drop that corner, or if you say one word about the developer’s funding, you are off the campaign board by tonight. Do you understand me? Look at the camera and smile.”

The technician, hearing the exchange through his headphones, immediately looks up from his console toward the steps. His reaction is caught on the security camera overlooking the Media Alcove.
